Jeannette Parker, 62, Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Lee's Summit Hospital. Jeannette was born April 23, 1945, to William and Betty Allen. She worked as a bookkeeper for a consulting firm, colected stuffed animals and was an expert bingo player. Jeannette was a genuinely nice, caring and giving person, always having something positive to say with a smile on her face. Jeannette was proceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Robert Allen and Joy Allen. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Briece Parker) Scanlon and husband Pat; Orban Parker; brother, William Allen and wife, Nettie; and for grandchildren. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence, 816-373-3600. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with cremation to follow.
