ANSON SERVICES were held Tuesday in Tryon, Okla., for Miss Elaine Anson, 25, of 111 Burning Tree Circle, who died Friday in a two-car crash on U.S. 33 east of Locust Grove, Okla. Miss Anson, who was vacationing with a niece, Karen Anson, 12, of 606 Westwood Drive, lost control of her vehicle on a rain-slick highway and crashed into another car. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Anson, Sr., 512 E. Lexington, and a brother, Leslie Anson Jr., 606 Westwood Dr. Services were at the First Christian Church in Tryon, with burial in the Tryon Cemetery.
Thanks for the obituary, Robert. I was a friend of Elaine's from the first or second grade at Benton Elementary through high school. I had never seen how she died. She was such a sweet young lady and died far, far too young. Again, thanks.
