Patrick Costigan Obituary

Patrick Dean Costigan, 78, was born on May 5, 1945 in Independence, Missouri. He recently passed away on October 15, 2023.

A visitation will be held in his honor at Platte Woods United Methodist Church in Platte Woods, MO on November 4, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will follow at the same location at 11:00 AM.

Patrick attended William Chrisman High School and Rockhurst University. He worked for Trans World Airlines (TWA) and Hallmark Cards.

Patrick's battle with Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia is over.  He died Sunday night with me by his side.  He was at home, at peace and in no pain.  All our kids and almost all of our grandkids had visited to say their goodbyes.  Caring for him at home was both the hardest thing I have ever done while being the only thing I would have ever wished.  In my heart and mind, no one would have taken as good of care of him as I did.  No one loved him more. My heart is broken.  

Please share with the William Chrisman group.  He enjoyed the times we could come to the lunches and I loved getting to know the people that he went to school with.
