Vicky Lyn Austin, 43, Independence, died Feb. 1, 1989, at the Independence Regional Health Center. She was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Austin was a member of the Spring Branch Congregation of the RLDS Church.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Austin of the home; two stepsons, Brent Austin, Bellevue, Neb., and Brad Austin, Knob Noster, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Laurie Kroenke, Kansas City; her parents, George and Mildred Croucher of Independence; two stepbrothers Michael Croucher, Cross Timbers, Mo., and Brian Croucher, Independence; a foster sister, Daisy Davis, Independence and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel; burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney foundation.
