Lynn Eric Smith, beloved husband, son, father, uncle, grandfather and friend passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at University of Utah Hospital at the age of 59. Eric was born on September 29, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lynn Elbert and Mary Lorene Smith. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1963. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He served with the 3rd Special Forces Group, Airborne Division, as a combat engineer.
