Carl Ray Williamson, 55, Independence, died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at the Medical Center of Independence. Mr. Williamson was born June 14, 1945, in Independence He was a lifelong Independence resident. He retired from Rich Mix Corporation in 1997. He also owned and operated Lake City U-Store, the Osage Mini Storage, and AA Mini Storage. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Eagles Lodge, the Independence Bass Club and the Masonic Lodge. His survivors include his wife, Chris, Independence; his children, Jeff Fowler, Honolulu, Hawaii, Carl 'Ray' Williamson Jr., Orlando, Fla., Wesley Williamson, Kansas City, Theresa Fendrick, Denver, and Tara Fowler, Independence; his mother, Ella Williamson, Independence; a brother, James 'JD' Williamson, Independence; nieces, Gwen Tao and Susan Smith; nephews, Mike Williamson, Doug Williamson and John Williamson; and three grandchildren, Austin Fowler, Megan Neisberger and Samantha Williamson. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery.
