Phillip Cooper

Phil was a long time resident of Lee’s Summit and Greenwood, MO.  After working at Leeds and car dealerships in the 1960’s – he started his auto repair business in 1972 in downtown Lee’s Summit, Mo.  Cooper’s Auto Service was owned and operated by Phil and Marilyn Cooper for decades.

He loved working on cars, building motors, fishing, and hunting. He was a kind and honest man who was taken away from friends and family too soon due to cancer. Phil was greatly loved. 

He leaves behind his wife of over 55 years, Marilyn. Also a daughter Christy Martin and son-in-law Larry Martin, a son Steve Cooper, grandchildren Nikkole Foster (Jake Foster), Brooke Martin, Trystyn Cooper, and three others, and a great-granddaughter Makkena Foster. A brother Gary Cooper and many nieces, nephews, and cousins

Succeeded in death by parents Carl M Cooper and La Vera Cooper.
