Heather A. Latham, 68, Independence, MO, passed away on December 12, 2013. Heather was a lifelong resident of Independence and had been employed in the past by Ann Smith, Auctioneer; Nature’s Niche, and Reveill Hardware. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Latham. Heather was an avid collector of many things, elephants, dolls, buttons and bears to name a few. She was also a talented artist and was known for the many bears she created for her family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Florence Latham and Natalie (Korey) West; son, Brian Latham; and grandchildren, Jesse, Chelsea, Jennifer, Dillon and Zander. Also, great-grandchildren, Kaedyn, Roland, Cora and Alyson. A celebration of Heather’s life will be held from noon to 4:00pm, on December 22, 2013 at the home of her daughter, at 2013 SW 5th St. , Blue Springs, MO 64014.
