Wayne Brown

George Wayne Brown, 74, of Mexico, MO, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born January 27, 1945, the son of Eldon Wayne and Roberta (Scantlon) Brown.  Growing up in Odessa, Missouri, Wayne joined the Marines, where he served two tours.

Wayne worked as the President of First National Bank in Sugar Creek.  He later worked with his father at a trucking company called Cyrus and ended up being the manager.  He was a broker from 1973 to present.

On June 25, 1983, Wayne and Betty were joined in marriage where they raised their children together.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; four childrenm Todd (Shelby) Woolfolk, Kelli (Bryan) Stallman, Julie (Geoff) Lowery and Cole (Ashley) Woolfolk.  Wayne was blessed to have 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
