Christopher Carl Davidson, 61, Denver, Colo., formerly of Independence, MO., passed away Sunday, March 4, 2007, at his home. Mr. Davidson was born on Sept. 17, 1945, in Independence and had lived in this area most of his life before moving to Denver several years ago. He was a 1963 graduate of William Chrisman High School and had attended Westiminster College and LSU. He was a loving son who enjoyed swimming, skiing and spending time with his friends. He was an Army National Guard veteran. Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Charles Norman Davidson, in 2006. He is survived by his mother, Mary Anne Davidson of Independence; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, Independence, 816-252-7900. Burial will be in Mount Washington Forever Cemetery, Independence. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
