Liked Flexibility and returned to Adult Education...from 1977 ...last 4. Years taught both English as a second language and helped people educationally to achieve GED....I was pretty good at it averaging 50 graduates or 12 % at the sites I was lead teacher....at IFLC,RAYTOWN,GRANDVIEW,KCMSD,and last years at Della Lamb Charter.
raising my kids was always the most important thing to me...they got from us a lot of unique skills and Dick and I focused on helping further them the
most...My husband thinks Family First is what he cares about...like Wyatt Earp...all the rest are Strangers.....at least that is what he says period..a man of few words!

Took Art Classes as junior at KCAI( the one art teacher I had in the old bldg flirted with the guys and did not teach.) My favorite Socicial study teacher and I shared Family History...the book that showed my ancestors who died as Union Soldiers.....and she shared with me her parents emancipation papers from her Grand parents.
I and I am sure many other girls had a crush on Dick Agee....I had him and Stephanie all three years in French Class..we laughed a lot together in there.by my senior year I was getting taller surpassing both Stephanie and Dick...so my attention to taller guys began,Wasn't Patti Allen and Dana so sweet...I loved the way Nancy Allison came in and made such headway as a student who was liked all around.I guess my most cliquish time was in Ms Otts Class when we're put on Panels...Tim Doty...Nancy..Bill Simpson..et mois. it was a nice group to work with and hang out with.Ms Ott always thought I was an outstanding talker.....and I recollect I did a lot of leading on this panel. Another good experience was debate partner....Linda Guy.Today we are real friends with very similar views. ...what a treat! my run around friends were part of class of 62' Pat Barkley ,Judy Bell,Mary Black,Carol Davis.I was not really dating like most girls who were going steady by Nov. in senior year...Linda Akin at lunch....
My mom was disabled through most of my senior year..that is why along with driving whatever..I also had big responsibilities at home.
Mom threw me and at home brunch part with friends from Kndg to HS.
Did not go to Prom.....did go to ROTC Balll...I picked a beautiful formal but was made to take it back and wear a pink balloon dress...lol.back then we did what our mums told us to do...but in the dress I picked I looked like Marilyn monroe with all curves in right place...if she had let me wear it...it would have popped everyone's eyes out.....damn wish I icouldn look the same now. I was so happy at 36 when my looks caught up with my age..I guess every woman has her real time....mine was 36 to 56. Unfortunately Arthritis got me good after 56 and has really slowed me down...lots of pain to push through...walk with Cane and only recently able to match calories with lack of exercise....water only is really helpful..
I always thought I would be dead like my dad by 62"""" guess I am stronger then. I realized.....a real Amazon Woman...Hope you have had a good life.....with challenges and joys and insights about developments and the ability to adjust to almost every thing!
Funniest memory was always coming from Felicia and her short thumb and her showing off its various snoods. Vivien P. eating Reese's pieces in Mr Farley's Class and the awful smell of chocolate&peanut butter in A.M. Loved my ModelA Ford and my Fun working on it with my Dad and driving it...
