Judith Johnston Judd 48, Independence, died Sunday, May 23, 1993, at home. Mrs. Judd was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and lived in Independence most of her life. She was a parent educator for the Kansas City School District for five years. Earlier she taught preschool. She was an elder of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints and a member of the Walnut Gardens RLDS congregation. She was past president of the Olive Branch Players and a member of the Independence Messiah Choir. She received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Kansas in 1967. Her survivors include her husband, Peter A. Judd of the home; two daughters, Shelley K. Judd, Kansas City, and S. Melissa Judd of the home; a sister, Mary Ryals, Atlanta; and two brothers, Keith Johnston, Roto, Spain and Gary Johnston, Alburquerque, N.M.
