Cheryl Keith Wholey, 72, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Cheryl grew up in Independence and was a 1963 graduate of William Chrisman High School. She attended Watson Memorial Methodist Church. She was a Customer Service Rep for Roll Source Paper in Itasco, Ill., for 24 years. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Virginia Keith; and her sister, Gwynne Farrens.

She leaves her son, Dennis Wholey of Nashville; brother, Lee Keith (Arlene) of Edwards; her sister, Donna Gratzer-Smith(Russ) of Osceola; her grandchildren, Alaska and Wyatt of Illinois; plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
