Shirley was born on January 8, 1945 in Kansas City, Mo. She grew up in the Independence area with one brother and two sisters. She graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, Mo. Shirley met Jerry when he worked for General Motors in Kansas City. They were married, June 15, 1963. Jerry and Shirley started their family in 1964.
The family moved to Urbana, Mo. from Independence, Mo. In 1973, Shirley kept the books for the family’s Chervrolet dealership for 19 years, then moved to Branson where she worked in accounting for several hotels and theaters for 16 years before retiring.
Shirley was met at Heaven’s Gate by her parents, brother, sister and granddaughter Cheyenne. Leaving on this earth her husband of 57 years, Jerry Lee; daughter Lea Ann Quessenberry and son Randy Williams and their spouses; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and friends that will truly miss her.
