Trudy Kay Sauerbier, 36, of 1920 Norwood, Independence, died Sunday at the home. She was born in Independence and had lived in this area most of her life. Miss Sauerbier had been a medical assistant to Dr. William Hickerson. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Clover Sauerbier of the home, and a brother, John D. Sauerbier, Pearl City, Hawaii. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ott & Mitchell Chapel; burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggest contributions to the American Heart Association.
