Diane Bunyar (Earhart)

Diane "DeDe" Bunyar (Earhart)

April 11, 1945 - September 22, 2021

I don't have much on DeDe's passing as I could not find an obituary.  She was 73.  I am finding bits and pieces online and looking at it now, it pretty much looks like an obituary.  DeDe left Chrisman sometime during 1960 when her parents moved to Sprinfield.

Diane, "DeDe," Bunyar married Jim Earhart in Springfield, Missouri, June 29, 1968.  In 1988, Jim and DeDe relocated, with their children, Kimberly and Todd, from Independence, Missouri to Riverside.

DeDe had a stroke, on January 29th, two weeks after her husband died.

She is preceded in death by her parents. John H. and Barbara Jean Bunyar.

DeDe is survived by her daughter, Kimberly and spouse, Ann Pfeifle, their children, Tracy, Amy, and Myles Pfeifle; her son, Todd and spouse, Mandy, their children Jaina and Cohen; a sister-in-law, Betty Kemp (husband, John); a brothers, Scott Bunyar; a niece Virginia (Kemp) Cabell and a nephew Jesse Gilmour.

I clearly remember DeDe as a sweet gal with blond hair and a pony taiI. I think I went to a party at her home in Golden Acres in 7th or 8th grade. It seems to me her parents owned a shoe store or some kind of store on the Independence Square. I had forgotten what her real name (Diane) was as we always called her DeDe.
