Deborah Lee Coulthard

July 28, 1945 – November 15, 2024

Deborah L Coulthard, 79 of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at Rock Haven Nursing Home of Janesville, WI. Deb was born on July 28, 1945, to Harold and Joan (York) Cash in Attleboro, MA. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA in 1963. She graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA in 1968 with an elementary education degree. She continued to earn credits post-graduation in both WI and IL.

Deb started teaching school in Independence, MO where her parents lived, then to La Habra, CA; Seoul, Korea; and finally, Parkview School District in Footville/Orfordville, WI for 28 years. Other places she’s lived are Aurora, CO and Sierra Vista, AZ.

Her favorite vacation was always returning to her family’s cottage in Cape Cod, MA. She was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church headquartered in Independence, MO and locally in Beloit and Madison, Wisconsin.

Deb is survived by her husband Lloyd M Coulthard (married July 30, 1991), son Timothy (Emily) Slater, stepdaughters Wendy (Ken Durfee) Coulthard and Christy (Greg) McWilliams, sisters Cindy Frerking, Cheryl Yost, and Darlene Pierce, step-grandchildren Logan (Katie) and Haleigh Komprood, Lucia (Neil) Mawad, Bronte McWilliams, and Olivia Forrest-Hamilton, many nieces, nephews, and Lloyd’s large family.

She was preceded by her parents Harold and Joan Cash, brother-in-law Richard Pierce, and nephew J.J. Frerking.

An informal gathering for family and friends will be held at Milton Lawns in Janesville, WI on December 16, 2024 from 3pm-4pm where her ashes will be placed in a Mausoleum.
