-34 yrs as City Planner, Sr Planner, Dir. Comm. Dev. Blk Grnts Pgm = City Gov.
-36 yrs US Army Helicopter Pilot. I flew Martha Rae from Saigon, Vietnam to Plantation/Bien Wa. She was terrific. And you say, "Who was Martha Rae?"
-3 yrs. EMS Pilot.
-Retired living adventures. I am not here for a long time; I'm here for a good time!
-PA to 7 G-Kids; they are amazing.
-Its really great when they shoot at you and miss.
-6-1-13 to 6-8-13 = Just finished the "BRAN" Bike Ride Across Nebraska, 85 mi per day; I met Ron Patch, Dir. of Music at Wm. Chrisman on this ride. He was a native Nebraskan. His Blue an Gold singers may be singing for us at our Reunion. This ride was on a bicycle not a Harley. There were a total of 600 people on the ride.....599 crazy people. Holy Cow!; 4-9-18 finished Cycle Zydeko in Louisiana; 200 mi.; 600 to 700 crazy party people for sure. Met a guy from NKC. MO. who had my Dad as a teacher at NKC High Sch. What are the chances?
-In 2017 I ran into Jay Leno in The Mirage Casino. I shook his hand and asked him, "Mr. Leno how you doin." His response was, "Not bad thank you." Took a picture of my wife with his big arm around her.
-In 2017 I was on the front row of the Bill Medly concert in KC....ok ok ok THE RIGHTOUS BROTHERS. I Shook his hand at the end of his performance. He has a new partner since the last one passed away 14-15 yrs ago.
Pat and I went to the Jonny Mathis concert at the Muriel Kaufman Theatre in October, 2018. He is 83 and his voice was spot on. I was amazed. Darn, I did not get to shake his hand.

School Story

Graceland University, AA; UMKC, BA; UMKC, MPA; US Army Flight School, Diploma-Wings; Master Aviator. I was good enough to play #2 on Graceland's Tennis Team. We were Conference Champs 3 years in-a-row. (Partial Scholarship). I would like to be 20 yrs of age again.

-2018....How about this fact: Graceland University made it into the NAIA National Championships this year....the only and very first year. They won the Championship......They are the 2018 National Champs. I am sure that will raise the hackels on some J-Hawks.

Happy Birthday Mike.!!!!!! How did you get all the way down in Naples, Florida? What was your job in the Navy? I got drafted into the Army and did not expect that. I tested into the flight program which lasted 11 months of training. I fell in love with flying and survived Vietnam in 1970-71. There were some serious issues. In General war is a waste.

Happy Birthday Judy......or is it Gump? Happy Birthday Judy. You must have some great stories to tell. I have never met your partner David, but I suspicion he is special. I will be honest as I look at the list of our classmates who are gone and it is now 2024.....I struggle with those facts. However; I look forward to all of my future birthdays. Life has been good to me Judy. Have a great Birthday and live it up.
